This award is DocSIG’s long-standing recognition honoring one scholar whose enduring contributions to the mentorship of doctoral students have profoundly shaped marketing scholarship. Through his exceptional commitment to mentoring, Dr. Mende has had a lasting impact on generations of doctoral students and the broader academic community.

The award will be formally presented by Prof. Mathew Joseph at the DocSIG–Sheth Foundation Mentors Breakfast, the opening session of the first-ever DocSIG Global Colloquium, held at 2026 AMA Winter Academic Conference in Madrid.
