BIG NEWS FOR MARKETING DOCTORAL STUDENTS Attending 2026 Summer AMA in Denver!
As we head into the weekend, AMA DocSIG is excited to announce something special for our doctoral student community.
For the very first time, we are offering multiple forms of conference support to help doctoral students attend the 2026 AMA Summer Academic Conference in Denver!
Whether you’re presenting your research, attending to learn, or looking to become more involved in the AMA community, we have support opportunities designed just for you.
2026 AMA DocSIG Conference Support Grants
This year, AMA DocSIG will award FOUR different types of conference support grants:
🎟️ Discounted Registration Grants
• Up to 5 grants available
• Covers 10% of the Early-Bird Member Registration
• Registration reduced from $409 to $368.10
• Open to DocSIG members with a competitive paper, poster, or flash talk accepted at Summer AMA
🌟 Free Early-Bird Registration Grant
• Upto 1 grant available
• Covers 100% of the Early-Bird Member Registration fee (valued at $409)
• Open to DocSIG members with a competitive paper accepted at Summer AMA
🤝 Free AMA Membership Grants
• Up to 3 grants available
• Complimentary AMA Membership (valued at $99.50 for doctoral students)
• Open to doctoral students who are not AMA DocSIG members as of June 12, 2026, and plan to attend Summer AMA in Denver
✈️ Travel Grants
• Up to 5 grants available
• $100 travel stipend
• Open to DocSIG members with a competitive paper accepted at Summer AMA
📌 Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must:
✔ Be a current doctoral student enrolled in an AACSB-accredited Marketing PhD program
✔ Be an active AMA DocSIG member (except applicants for the AMA DocSIG Membership Grant)
✔ Have an eligible paper accepted at the 2026 AMA Summer Academic Conference (except applicants for the AMA DocSIG Membership Grant)
✔ Plan to attend the conference in person in Denver
🎲 Selection Process
All eligible applicants will be entered into a raffle, and award recipients will be selected through a random drawing.
