Attention doctoral students! Our friends at the AMA Sales SIG, in collaboration with the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA), are excited to announce the 2025 Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition. This annual competition celebrates the best dissertation proposals in selling and sales management, offering an excellent opportunity for PhD and DBA students to showcase their research.
Awards Two winning proposals will each receive a $1,000 award, sponsored by the USCA, a global consortium dedicated to advancing the sales profession. Award recipients may also be invited to present their research to USCA members.

Winners Announced: January 15, 2025
Awards Presented: 2025 AMA Winter Academic Conference in Phoenix, Arizona
Eligibility To participate, candidates must be:
Enrolled in an AACSB-accredited business or marketing PhD/DBA program.
Have an approved dissertation proposal by November 1, 2024.
Anticipating dissertation completion after December 31, 2024.
Proposals that have not previously won an AMA Sales SIG award.
Submission Details Send your proposal (up to 5 double-spaced pages) and a separate cover document to Dr. Eric Swan at eric_swan@baylor.edu with the subject line “Sales SIG Dissertation Proposal Competition.”
